8TH CONFERMENT

     The Board celebrated its 8th Conferment at the prestigious Manila Polo Club last October 24, 2022. This significant event marked another milestone for the Board as it continued to professionalize the practice of pain medicine and palliative care in the country by certifying medical specialists. With the easing of Covid protocols, the conferment was held in person, accompanied by the conferees' loved ones who also proudly wore the medallion symbolizing their achievement as Newly Conferred Diplomates of the PBPMI.

    Aside from the conferment, the Board also awarded Accreditation to its Pain Management and Pain Medicine Training Units, reinforcing its commitment to elevating pain medicine practice and care quality in the Philippines. The event was a testament to the PBPMI's dedication to its mission and the continuous improvement of pain management services in the country.
